Matter of E. – Ms. Trupiano WON dismissal for husband of DIVORCE-RELATED PROTECTIVE ORDER filed by former wife
  Mr. E’s wife, who was in the United States on a spouse visa from Ethiopia, wrongfully obtained a temporary ex parte protective order against Mr. E, a citizen of the United States. Ms. Trupiano prepared for and attended the hearing at which time the temporary protective order was fully dismissed because Ms. Trupiano was able to show that the wife was not being honest about her allegations against Mr. E.
   
Matter of J.T. – Ms. Trupiano WON petition for DIVORCE-RELATED PROTECTIVE ORDER against husband and granting Child Custody to wife
  After a thorough investigation and working with the police, Ms. Trupiano filed a successful petition for protective order and for immediate custody of the children with supervised visits for the father until he obtained the necessary counseling to revisit the issue of supervised visits.
   
Matter of D.B. – Ms. Trupiano WON dismissal for husband of DIVORCE-RELATED PROTECTIVE ORDER filed by former wife
  A citizen of England and legal permanent resident in the United States, Mr. B. had a protective order against him during a divorce proceeding involving his United States citizen wife. Ms. Trupiano was able to obtain a dismissal of that protective order.
   
Matter of L.O. – Ms. Trupiano WON dismissal for husband of DIVORCE-RELATED PROTECTIVE ORDER filed by former wife
  Mr. O’s United States citizen wife obtained a temporary ex parte protective order against Mr. O, a citizen of Peru in the United States. Ms. Trupiano prepared for and attended the hearing at which time the temporary protective order was fully dismissed because Ms. Trupiano was able to show that the wife was not being honest about her allegations against Mr. O.
   
Matter of S.V. – Ms. Trupiano WON dismissal for client of PROTECTIVE ORDER filed by client’s mother and grandparents
  Mr. V’s mother and grandparents all obtained a temporary ex parte protective order against Mr. V. Ms. Trupiano prepared for and attended the hearing at which time the temporary protective orders were fully dismissed because Ms. Trupiano was able to show that Mr. V’s mother and grandparents were not being honest about their allegations against Mr. V.
